“On Diversity day we encourage people to notice that every person around us is unique regardless of their gender, age, nationality, sexual orientation, religion or disability,” said Kari Käsper, the head of Human Rights Centre according to whom more and more Estonian companies and organitsations are carrying the values of diversity.
Dozens of companies organize events for their employees and guests to appreciate the value of diversity today. Companies are celebrating the day differently – some organise photo contests, others theme days, outreach events or public debates.
Diversity Day is a joint initiative of the Human Rights Centre, Tallinn Technology University’s project “Diversity Enriches”, and the Estonian Diversity Charter.
