International Black Nights Film Festival PÖFF

International Black Nights Film Festival was launched in 1997.  Within 10 years Black Nights Film Festival had increased the number of films nearly tenfold and the number of cinema visits even more. 

From the first focus on Nordic cinema the festival has grown to present all continents and many genres.

Overview 2014:

– over 775 00 admissions
– 662 films and total of 835 screenings
– 566 attending industry guests and journalists
– recognized by FIAPF and the most influential film festival of the European North Eastern region

RusMedia responsibilities 2009-2014 were: development and implementation of the communication strategy for POFF with focus on the Russian-speaking local and international mass-media.
